Congradulations Julia !!
I am waiting for mine to come in, I ordered it weeks ago through the library purchasing program which is one of the few perks of working at the library.

Umm sorry for sounding like a total dork, but uh what did she publish??
Wow, Judi, what a great congratulations! LOVE the cake! Thank you, thank you, one and all.
The book is titled Tiny Treats. It was a lot of work writing and developing all the treats but oooh so fun and ooooh so sweet.
The treats are all edible, scrumptious and, most important, doll-size. Try out the mini Croissants, Petite Fours and the tiny Cakes next time your dolls have tea. This past weekend I took a wee Wedding Cake to my dinner hosts. What fun it was to tell them that I brought them a wedding cake and then open the box to show a teeny cake. The hosts thought it was too cute to cut and eat so they saved it.
I wrote the book two years ago but it took a while to get published. During that time I had to remain silent about the project. Once there was a thread on the board about doll-size REAL food. I just about died since I couldn't say anything or share any of my recipes with you all.
Tiny Treats contains about 50% of the recipes I wrote. Some day I'll put the recipes that got cut in another book, such as the little spaghetti and Tiny Tiramisu, Mini Quesadillas and Hot Chilly & Frosty Sundaes.
I'm looking forward to board members trying out some of the recipes. Yumm!

Julia:
Kailey and I are going to pick that up next time we are at AGP. I can't wait to try out the recipes and have a tea party with DD.
Judiaci-can I ask where that cake is from in your signature? I LOVE it.

Congratulations Julia! The recipes look and sound just wonderful. I will have to get it soon, and my daughters will get a kick out of the fact it was written by an HB member (they love to check out everybody's albums).
We love to cook (and eat) around here . Oh, and my younger daughter's name is Julia, so she'll love that.

Julia,
I loved the Valentine candies you posted about awhile ago, and I made my own set for my dolls (however, they aren't edible, they are FIMO). I would Love to get your book! Keep up the good work, and keep posting harder craft ideas on hostboard, because I love a craft challange.
